Sick of the crimes being perpetrated by the pedophile-in-chief? Well don’t look to U.S. Senator Mark Warner for any action. Read his passive, mealy-mouthed, response to me when I asked him what he was doing to protect the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Which turns out to be nothing.
The next time he’s up for re-election I’ll vote for ANYBODY instead of this passive, incompetent fool.
Here’s his weak email of July 10th–from a no-response email address of all things. Lots of concern. No action.
=====================
Dear Mr. Pilipczuk,
Thank you for contacting me with your concerns about President Trump and recent actions by his administration. I appreciate your engagement in these issues.
I continue to be alarmed by President Trump’s blatant disregard for the rule of law, and the breakneck speed at which he has moved to dismantle vital government agencies, indiscriminately fire thousands of federal workers, and implement irrational and reckless tariffs that are nothing more than a tax on American families at a time when Virginians are already struggling with the cost of food, housing, and gas.
I am also alarmed that President Trump has pulled us into another broad and costly conflict in the Middle East. His ill-advised and unauthorized war of choice has so far seen U.S. servicemembers killed, billions of dollars spent within just the first few days of the war, and a significant spike in gas prices. His threats and erratic foreign policy, whether in Iran or Greenland, has strained relations with our closest allies, and made Americans less safe.
As the Vice Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, I am deeply concerned with the reckless and sloppy handling of classified information by President Trump’s national security team. This kind of incompetence, which we have seen demonstrated on multiple occasions, continues to put the lives of American servicemembers and intelligence officers in danger.
I have been particularly sickened by his efforts, and congressional Republicans capitulation, to weaken Social Security and Medicaid, cut food, housing, and health care assistance, and defund faith-based charity organizations that serve our most vulnerable populations in Virginia and around the world.
These issues go beyond who happens to be president or what political party is in control of Congress, and I am committed to standing up against any government official in a principled way when they try to go beyond the boundaries of the law. Congress must play its essential role as an equal branch of government.
Your engagement in these issues encourages me to continue the hard work ahead, and I urge every Virginian to stand up, step up, and speak out in defense of our Constitution and the rule of law.
Sincerely,
MARK R. WARNER
United States Senator
